Dispatch platform
Drivers, loads, dispatch reports and admin tooling in one internal system, replacing the workflow that lived in spreadsheets.
The problem
Dispatch lived in spreadsheets and phone calls: who is driving what, which loads are covered, what happened yesterday. Reports were rebuilt by hand every week.
The idea
A single internal system for drivers, loads and reports, shaped around the dispatcher's day rather than a generic CRM.
The board
Unassigned, assigned, in transit, delivered. A load is always in exactly one place.
Reports from the records
Daily and weekly reports are views over real data, not documents someone maintains.
Admin tooling
Drivers, carriers, rates and users are managed in the system, behind the right role.
The build
React front end, Node.js API and MySQL. Loads move across a board, drivers have profiles and availability, and reports are generated from the same records. Role-based access keeps the admin tooling separate, and the repetitive steps were automated.
- React app
- Node.js API
- MySQL
- Scheduled jobs + automation
The result
Dispatchers work from one board, reports come out of the system instead of being retyped, and admins can change things without a developer.
